This infographic shows how bad for the environment that traditional print publishing is for the environment. This shows many mind-boggling statistics, one of which being that in a single year Americans use about 169 millions trees worth of paper in newspapers, catalogs, and magazines alone! That sure is a lot of paper. I think it's also crazy how many pieces of unwanted mails are sent to consumers each year. Like stop spamming us with stuff we don't want and save a tree or two! Sheesh! Greater utilization of digital media would do wonders for the reduction of these numbers.
