California Drought
The Western United States drought has had a huge affect on California. The water levels are low and that has had an effect on farms, plants, and animal species.According to NewsWeekly "Most of California is experiencing extreme to exceptional drought "and crisis has now entered its fourth year.""A possible solution to this problem could be a desalinization plant since California is so close to the Ocean. The downfall to this solution would be the expense. If California decides to build a desalinization plant they should still keep conserving there water. In conclusion California needs to do something more than what they are doing because the clock is ticking.

ReplyDeleteI appreciated this post because both of our articles focus on the effects of drought on habitats, industry, and species, specifically in California. It has been an ongoing problem that could eventually effect the East Coast if efforts aren't increased to reduce the effects of climate change and global warming. As both of us presented, cost is a big factor that hinders people from making changes and becoming aware of their impact on the environment.
